Account and protection
The game assumes you are not sitting at it all the time. Three mechanics keep an account alive even when you cannot get to it for a few days — and one of them applies from registration.
Beginner protection
- For the first 5 days after registration no player and no horde can attack you; your villages carry a shield on the map.
- The protection ends the moment you attack another human. Attacks on barbarians and NPCs cost you nothing.
Vacation
When you go away, you shield the account in Settings for 2 to 14 days. Nobody attacks your villages meanwhile — but it is a pause, not a hiding place:
- Production freezes, and so does the army's hunger, so nothing accumulates behind the shield.
- The queues freeze — building, training and research all shift by the whole vacation, and nothing new can be queued.
- It can be ended only after 2 days, and two vacations must be 14 days apart.
Sitter
While you are away you can appoint one member of your alliance to run your defense — sending and pulling back reinforcements from your villages.
Nothing more: attacks, trade and expansion cannot be delegated, and the appointment can be revoked at any time.
Account
- A player name is permanent — chosen at registration, and it survives a season reset.
- An email change takes effect only after the link sent to the new address is clicked.
- You pick the language of the interface, the knowledge base and emails when you register (the switch in the top right) and can change it any time in Settings › Display.
Support
- A bug, an account problem or a player breaking the rules is reported through Support in the left menu (on mobile under More).
- The admin's answer arrives in your mail and closes the request.
- You can have 5 open at a time and file 5 per 24 hours; closed ones are deleted after 90 days.
